Steve Bowell joined McDonald Insurance Group in August 1st 2021. Born in Hollywood, California, raised in Boulder, Colorado, Steve has now been a 30-year resident of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Steve is a graduate of the American Institute of Banking with a degree in finance. Steve entered the insurance industry seven years ago by starting and building a successful Farmers Insurance and independent agency, from scratch, in Highlands Ranch. But small business ownership has been a part of most of his career; prior to insurance, Steve was the owner, president, and riverboat captain for the Padelford Packet Boat Company in St. Paul, Minnesota for over 17 years. During his time at Padelford, Steve learned to manage their commercial insurance and was the chairman for the Passenger Vessel Association’s (PVA) insurance committee, which gave him great knowledge and insight into the commercial market. Steve resides in Highlands Ranch with his wife, Cindy, nearby to his son, Kyle, and his five grandchildren. Cindy and Steve enjoy the outdoors, travel, are diehard Broncos fans, and love trying new local restaurants. Steve is always just a call away to help you with any insurance needs!
